The service
Paperwork (“we”, “us”) turns markdown or structured blocks that you supply into a typeset PDF document, at your direction. You (“you”) pay per rendered document at the rates published on our pricing page. Paperwork is an Ounie product; your account, credits and billing live on ounie.com.
Billing
There is no subscription. A rendered document costs 3Ounie credits (1 credit = 1¢) drawn from your shared Ounie wallet, whatever the document’s length. Credits are reserved before the render and recorded as spent only once a PDF exists; a render that fails, or that produces no pages, refunds the reservation to the same credit pools it came from, automatically and in full. Reading, listing, re-downloading and sharing documents you have already paid for is free. Keyless x402 calls are paid per call in USDC and, because an on-chain settlement cannot be reversed, are only settled after your document has been produced.
Your content
The content you send remains yours. We do not train models on it, sell it, or use it for any purpose other than producing and storing the document you asked for and supporting you if something goes wrong. Documents are private by default; a share page exists only when you explicitly publish one, and unpublishing it takes effect immediately, including for links already shared.
Acceptable use
Do not use Paperwork to produce documents that impersonate a real person or organisation, to fabricate records, invoices or correspondence intended to deceive, or to produce material that is illegal or infringes someone else’s rights. We may remove a published share page and suspend an account for these. We do not read your documents in the ordinary course of business, so enforcement is reactive — normally in response to a report.
Retention
Documents you create with an account are stored privately for as long as your account exists, and you can delete any of them at any time, which removes the stored file as well as the record. Documents paid for with x402 belong to no account and are removed after 30 days; download the PDF rather than treating the link as storage.
Availability and liability
We aim to keep the service up and correct, but it is provided as-is, without warranty. Our liability to you is limited to the credits you spent on the affected documents. We are not liable for consequential loss — if a document matters commercially or legally, check it before you send it.
Changes
We may change these terms; material changes will be dated here. Continuing to use Paperwork after a change means you accept it. Prices published on the pricing page are authoritative, and a price change never applies retroactively to credits already spent.
